Sherry Bradshaw has made the turn to her Back 9 of life, but not before she accomplished her Front 9. Sherry graduated from Clemson University with a degree in Administrative Management. After graduation, Sherry was crowned Miss South Carolina and went on to be first runner-up in the Miss America Pageant. Upon relinquishing the crown, she married and became the mother of three. Becoming the mom of Brewer, Thomas and Collins was the hardest but most rewarding job, and yes, all three happened to play the game of golf. They played from early in their lives all the way through their college careers — two at Clemson University and one at the University of Georgia.
In the Front 9 of life, Sherry was also a Clemson Cheerleader when they won their first National Championship. Just a few years ago, as she made the turn to her Back 9, she followed her tigers with her 2 sons as they won a 2nd and 3rd national championship in 2016 and 2018. The Back 9 has kept Sherry extremely busy there have been three weddings, a pandemic and she just recently became a “Honey” to 3 new grandsons. Her family has grown from three adult children to 9. To date, she says that being a “Honey” is the best thing that has ever happened to her outside of her relationship with Jesus.

Also in the Back 9, Sherry wrote and published two books of challenge and encouragement for others. The Front 9, Making Your Shots Count and The Back 9, Finishing Strong. Both books take her real-life experiences and help her to share life lessons and motivation with others. She is currently working on a third book. Sherry enjoys investing in her adult children, grandchildren and their friends. In recent years, her two sons have had near-death experiences. She writes honestly about what she went through during that time and gives God the glory for all that has come out of those seasons.

Along with writing books, moving to the lake, and playing with her new grands, Sherry enjoys writing personal blogs and inspirational posts on social media. Sherry’s passion is to encourage others to lead a life of significance. God has led her to fulfill this passion through writing and speaking at various men’s and women’s events and by leading women’s conferences.

She has thoroughly enjoyed all phases of life…with its joys and challenges; this keeps her where she likes to live – being comfortable with being uncomfortable. Living this way is how you truly grow and see God’s hand in all areas of her life. One of her all-time favorite quotes is by C.S. Lewis…

When we put first things first, second things are not suppressed, rather they increase.-C.S. Lewis
