Many have seen the quote “Life is Good because God is Great!” The following are simple truths from the book of James that can lead to a “Life is Good” because God is great:
- Be doers of the word. James 1:22
- Show NO partiality as you hold the faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. James 2:1
- Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. James 4:8
- Be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry. James 1:19
- Humble yourselves before the Lord and He will exalt you. James 4:10 6. Remain steadfast under trial. James 1:12
- Ask God for wisdom. James 1:5
- Bridle your tongue. James 1:26
- Submit yourselves therefore to God. James 4:7
- Let your yes be yes and your no be no. James 5:12
The book of James is only 5 chapters long and is found in the New Testament. It is full of such great wisdom and directs our lives with such great instruction from God! Sometimes it helps to step back and summarize the wisdom we read, especially when there is so much to gain from the book! Just applying what the book of James instructs us to do is or can be “life changing!!”
